Milage Update 2
Okie - I worked out that between leaving our flat in Edinburgh and leaving Southampton on the QM2 we did somewhere in the region of 2000 miles.
Now I just need to figure out how long the cruise was and we'll have a figure we can work with.

Look, I might not be a geography uberlord but even I know that the distance between Edinburgh and Southampton isn't 2000 miles! Were you drunk while travelling? That's an awfully zig-zagged route.
P.s - watch you don't fall of the edge of the earth.

Edinburgh - Aberdeen - Edinburgh - Lincoln - Norwich - London - Cambridge - Chester - Manchester - Edinburgh - Aberdeen - Edinburgh - Southampton.
